A Vintage Partnership
No stranger to the world of food and bev, Northern Ground has partnered with Rudd on multiple websites for dynamic and creative product lines.
Rudd Winery Brands
Projects incubated within the esteemed Rudd Winery. Estate grown and organically farmed in the heart of Napa Valley’s most notable appellations.
Founded in 1996 by Leslie Rudd, Rudd Estate is a multigenerational winery in Napa Valley. They produce small-batch wines from Oakville and Mt. Veeder vineyards. The Oakville vineyard produces red Bordeaux varietals, while Mt. Veeder grows Sauvignon Blanc and blends.
Samantha Rudd took over as head of the company in 2018. Committed to creativity and innovation, she promoted organic and biodynamic farming and supported a variety of products in the market, including Distillery No. 209, Durant & Booth wine and tasting room, and Crossroads, a more approachable spin on the special grapes from Rudd Winery.
Over the years we've developed several sites to launch and promote Rudd's exclusive products and the Rudd family of brands.
A family of revered brands
Part winery, part gallery, Durant + Booth was driven by their commitment to the relationship of art to winemaking.
Organically farmed in Napa; Crossroads was a true expression of the land. It was so successful the first vintage sold out before the site launched (sorry). You can follow them on Insta instead? Except your Instagram will wish it was their Instagram.
Durant & Booth source uncommon varietals from NorCal. Tasting occurs in their restored 140-year-old house in Napa. Our site supported their history & creativity. They gave us amazing imagery. Stranger & Stranger did their branding. We mainly got out of the way.
Leslie Rudd, founder of Rudd Wines owned 30+ wineries and wine brands and was an active, passionate philanthropist whose brands we were lucky & proud to partner with.
We architected, designed and built about a half dozen brand sites for various Rudd properties.
Our ecommerce sites featured an integration with ECellers API.
Ryan JanecekWalking the Rudd Estate and meeting the family in Oakville for the first time, almost 15 years ago, and I instantly understood the reputation they have earned. What a pleasure to be a small part of their new revered legacy.
